A lamp with a unique radiant glow, the Nova brings vibrance and allure to a space through color, radiance, and display of light.
NOVA LAMP
Some lamps glow.
This one radiates.
The Nova Lamp is an explorative study of light’s liquid qualities: how it flows, spills, and fills a shape or volume. Light is conically shaped internally and filtered through a network of fins which cut and diffuse it into multiple rays

Tiered Water Fountains
Water flows outwards from the top and center, cascading in all directions. This fountain’s design is characterized by pattern, rhythm, and tempo – a display of man's attempt to shape and organize the flow of water. In a similar fashion, the Nova lamp is an attempt to shape light – containing and dispersing it simultaneously, illumination to spills forth like water from a fountain.
Church of Light
Tadao Ando's Church of Light (1989) contrasts light's fluid qualities with concrete's solid structure by allowing it to pour through a cross-shaped hole – transforming the dark volume into a box bathed in holy light. The intersection between ephemeral & solid material creates a truly unique spiritual experience.
Poul Henningsen
The iconic PH lamps designed by Poul Henningsen sought to eliminate glare without compromising illumination. In his prototypes, one could see how he studied and bent light with thin sheets of steel.
Down to the milimeter
Measuring 0.43 mm per fin, the Nova's thin skeletal design is only made possible through the 3D FDM printing process. It's unique structure and form, with its conic cavity and paper thin fins, creates a unique silhouette of light which glows and radiates in streaks.
